Bentley code book, second edition, 1947.
Commercial phrase book enabling transmission of five letter groups instead of full sentences, for saving on telegram costs, paid according to number of words.
Used as a code book by the Government Department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine since late 1946. The department added a daily key number (for example: 41,945) to the code book number.
