UHF Radio-Relay transmitter-receiver, providing communications link with a range up to 30 Km (Line of Sight).
Used by NATO since late 1960’s until late 1980’s. Designated FM-200.
Used by the IDF during the War of Attrition (1967-1970), the Yom Kippur War (1973) and the Peace for Galilee War (1982)
Frequency range 610 to 960 MHz; 10 Watts output power; Originally up to 108 KHz analog channel, modified after the Yom Kippur War to 256, 512 or 1,024 kb/s digital channel.
Transistorized technology, with ceramic vacuum tube as transmitter final amplifier.
Manufactured by Telefunken, West Germany.
