VHF receiver, component of GRC-3 to 8 series ‑ family of vehicular VHF radio communication equipment, used by all infantry tactical echelons.
Used by the US military from early 1950s until late 1960s, designated R-109/GRC and R-110/GRC.
Used by the IDF during the Six Day War (1967).
Frequency range: MH-1109: 27 to 38.9 MHz, 120 channels in 100 kHz steps; MH-1110: 38 to 54.9 MHz, 170 channels in 100 kHz steps; FM (Frequency Modulation); powered by 12 or 24 Volts DC (requires internal power supply replacement).
