Used by the US military from early 1950s until early 1970s, designated AN/PRC-6 (nicknamed handy-talkie).
Used by the IDF during the Sinai Campaign (1956), the Six Day War (1967) and the War of Attrition (1967-1970).
Single channel in the frequency range of 47 to 55.4 MHz; FM; 43 available channels; FM (Frequency Modulation); output power: 0.25 Watts; battery: BU-270; weight: 2.9 Kg; range: 1.5 km.
Vacuum tubes technology; crystal controlled.
