Used by the IDF during the War of Attrition (1967-1970), the Yom Kippur War (1973), the Peace for Galilee War (1982), and the Security Zone Conflict (1982-2000).
The original unit scanned sectors of 30, 60, 90 and 110 degrees. The improved version scans sectors of 90, 180, 270 and 360 degrees.
