Mine Detector MGMQ-3

Mine detector.
The operator holds metal coil at the bottom of a searching rod. Buried metallic objects such as anti-tank mines are indicated by both audible and visual means. The presence of a metal object is indicated by the meter in the control box.
Detects standard American anti-tank mine at a distance of 60 cm.
Used by the US military during WW2, designated SCR-625.
Used by the IDF during the War of Independence (1948), the Sinai Campaign (1956) and the Six Day War (1967).
Operates with amplifier (designated BC-1141) carried in a carrying bag (designated BG-151).
Powered by two BU-30 batteries (1.5 Volts and BU-38 battery (103.5 Volts).
Vacuum tube technology.
