Used by the Haganah in illegal immigration ships purchased and equipped in the United States, with Jewish-American volunteers: Haganah, Haim Arlozoroff, Hatikvah, Exodus 1947, Geula, Medinat Hayehdim, Kibbutz Galuyot, Athzmaut and Theodor Herzl. Used by the Israeli Navy during the War of Independence (1948) and the Sinai Campaign (1956).
Frequency range: 1.5 to 12 MHz; output power: 25 Watts CW, 10 Watts AM; powered by 12, 200 and 440 Volts DC.
