Handset with PTT (Push-to-Talk) switch; Part of VRC-12 and PRC-25/77 series – vehicular and manpack VHF radio communication equipment, used by all tactical echelons.
Used by the US military from late 1990s, designated H-250/U.
Used by the IDF during the Security Zone Conflict (1982-2000) and the Second Lebanon War (2006), until recent years.
1,000 Ohms earphone, 150 Ohms noise cancelling microphone.
Flexible coiled cable; connected to the transceiver by five pin audio connector U-229/U.
