Dynamotor

During WW2, dynamotor was the common technology used for vacuum tubes high voltage provision in military radio equipment.
Dynamotor is a Motor-Generator, single rotor with double winding and commutator.
Dynamotor DM-34 (for receiver MH-603/MH-683) operated from 12 Volts DC and provided 220 Volts DC at 80 milli-Amper; dynamotor DM-35 (for transmitter MH-604/MH-684) operated from 12 Volts DC and provided 525 Volts DC at 0.225 Amper.
Various dynamotors were used by the Haganah Signal Service and by the IDF during the War of Independence (1948), the Sinai Campaign (1956) and the Six Day War (1967).
