Handheld aircraft signaling light based on electrical lamp with concave mirror. A sighting tube for alignment is on top of the light. Signaling key is embedded in the handle.
Comes with three colored lenses: red, green and purple.
Used for visual signaling from aircraft to control tower, for takeoff and landing under radio silence.
Used by the USAF since early 1950s, designated K-2.
