Remote Control Unit SU-1 (Canadian, No.1)

Used for remote operation of HF radio set MQ-190/191, for voice or morse code communication.
Two units are required: a local unit connects to the radio, and a local switch enables connection to a remote unit or to a switchboard. A distant (remote) unit connects to the local unit by a two-wire field line, directly or through switchboard, up to 4 Km range.
Used by the British military forces during WW2, designated Wireless Remote Control Unit Canadian No. 1.
Used by the IDF during the War of Independence (1948).
Powered by four batteries BU-11 (1.5 Volts).
