Bulington Slide Rule

Slide rule for VHF and UHF path loss calculation, in the Bulington method.
The engineering officer drew the radio path on a special form, considering earth curvature, deciding the ‘shadow’ height according to antenna heights, and calculated the path loss.
Path loss was calculated using Bulington nomograms, integrated overtime in this dedicated slide rule.
Back side presents data on common communication equipment.
Used by the IDF during the Six Day War (1967), the War of Attrition (1967-1970) and the Yom Kippur War (1973).
