Single core field cable. The single conductor is composed of one copper strand and seven steel strands, with rubber and linen cover, in different colures – Green, Yellow or Red.
For telephone circuit using a single wire, with the return circuit through earth.
Used by the British army during WW1, designated D3.
Used by the Haganah Signal Service and by the IDF during the War of Independence (1948).
