Signaling flags. Blue/White for morse signaling, Red/Yellow for semaphore signaling.
Square flags. Large flag with 90 cm side, small flag with 60 cm side. Band width: 10 cm. 165 cm pole.
Blue flag for signaling with clear background (such as sky or sand). White flag was used for signaling with dark background.
A competent signaler could transmit and receive about 12 words per minute.
Used by the Haganah Signal Service and by the IDF during the War of Independence (1948).
